Rotary Club Bucharest, through its members, joins the Rotarians from Romania and the Republic of Moldova to celebrate a historic moment: The Centenary of the Great Union, bringing together Rotarians from all over the country.

Our colleague and friend, Dumitru-Dorin Prunariu, the first and only Romanian cosmonaut, spoke at the opening of the Alba Iulia 100 event, organized by Rotary Club Alba Iulia and Rotary International District 2241 Romania and the Republic of Moldova.

The high-profile event, with selected guests, includes a series of thematic activities, an occasion to celebrate the historic deed, to celebrate a peaceful and harmonious cohabitation together and to reflect on tomorrow’s Romania.
