Rotary Club Bucharest gathered in a festive atmosphere celebrating Christmas.
We were glad to have the District Governor Cristian V Jurji, at this event dedicated to the homage to our friend, Rotary Club member of Bucharest, Alexandru Morosanu and the perpetuation of his memory by supporting the “Alexandru Morosanu” Contest.
Alexandru Morosanu “He loved young people, he loved music, and the cello was part of his being”. In this context, each year, Rotary Club Bucharest will offer a scholarship to young participants, recognizing their merits and encouraging true talent.
The funds raised during the event will award the talent of a young participant in the 2019 edition of the Cello Contest Alexandru Morosanu. 👏
At the same event, the club president, Gratiela Badicu, handed the Ambassadors diploma to Rotary Club Bucharest to Peter Agripa and Dumitru-Dorin Prunariu.
Rotary Club Bucharest is the first Rotary International club set up in Romania on April 8, 1929. The story of our club is remarkable by the quality of its members. Over time, the Rotarian movement in Romania has built impressive personalities from the history of this country.
We are honored to call them friends and have them next to us!
