Rotary Club Bucharest came together for a remarkable club meeting!
It was an honor to welcome Cristian V Jurji, Governor of Rotary International District 2241 Romania and the Republic of Moldova.
As always, the presence of the District Governor, sharing his message and news of the important work of Rotarians around the world, motivates us to continue to support the vision and mission of Rotary International
Moreover, the presence at the Rotary Club Bucharest meeting of Governor Rotary International District 2241, Cristian V Jurji was an opportunity to turn our attention to Rotary International projects.
As Rotarians, we have a common concern about education.
The Rotary Club of Bucharest started and supports the DaVinci Contest year – Technical and IT Innovation Contest, a project that grows in size with each edition.
Our friends, Rotary Club Pipera, present at our meeting and on the day of the competition, have already expressed interest in the DaVinci Contest 2019 edition.
Technical innovation is even more important for this club, whose members support the education of hearing-impaired children by means of donations for hearing aids and the IT equipment of Technology High School no. 3, where pupils with hearing disabilities are trained in Bucharest and counties in the south and south-east of the country.
By the Voice of My Voice project, Rotary Club Pipera members support the only such educational institution within a radius of 250 kilometers.
We are glad to see that in #Rotary we have some extraordinary people who understand the importance of youth education for the future. Br> br> br>
